We are here!!!
We are extremely happy about the arrival of our first litter. Diva has given birth to 2 males and 8 females, mum and kids are doing very well and the puppies are all healthy and already very active.

Diva is still in excellent mood and is relaxed looking forward to her motherhood. Our living-room is already prepared for the arrival of the Babies and we eagerly await the end of September.

When is a croup "steep" and how looks like a correct shoulder?
We are very happy that the australian breeder-/judge couples Cameron-Codognotto (Ozrhode Kennels) and Comerford (Ridgesetter Kennels) will give us the opportunity to discuss these and similar questions in a Breed Clinic Seminar and Show Parade during their stay in Germany.
By the help of pictures and guest dogs we´re goig to talk about themes regarding anatomics and functionality of our breed. Afterwards there´ll be an open questioning time, in which our refernents are available for you individual questions.
On Sunday an Open Show Parade will be held, which should also arouse the interest of those, who normally don´t (want to) show. Every Ridgeback -also those with cosmetic faults- are welcome, to every participant a detaild written critique will be handed out, along with small australian gift. Our judges will be again our australian guests. Those who want can also get some handling-tips ...

Vive la France!
we are especially glad about Diva's big success yesterday on international show Douai, France:
Exc 1st place, French CAC, CACIB and "Meilleur de Race" (BOB)
Diva now only needs one more CACIB for her international title!

Showtime ...
we attended the Specialty in Hellenthal/D on 9th July. It was a great day with nice folks (special thanks to Kiki, Susanne and Bente) and gorgeous dogs - Diva had a break and stayed at home, but it was a great honour and joy to handle two other Ridgebacks. Here are treh results of
Manzengwenya Nombekoleon (Imp. AUS), Kennel Nombeko/D: Intermediate Dogs Exc, 2nd along with German Res.CC and Club Res.CC - thus ended up as 2nd best male overall!
Rex Ventors Iving (Imp. SWE), Kennel The Ridged Viking/NOR: Intermediate Bitches Exc, 1st along with German and Club CC - thus making her Best Bitch and BOS!
BOB was awarded to JCh Heshima Ya Kimba Energy of Red, "aunty" Heshima Ya Kimba Dizzy Scooby-Dee won Open class Bitches and gained the elusive point for finishing her German Championship-title! Very well done!

Like announced we had to have a change regarding the sire-to-be for our a litter, we have updated the corresponding section Planned litter and added an introduction of the dog.

We have lots of beautiful new pictures added - I´d like to thank Kirstin Janson, Nombeko RR´s, Miriam Kirchner and Sven Märdian, who did these photographs and were so kind to let me publish them!
So we have two new sections in our picture gallery "Ridgebacks at the Isle of Ruegen" and "Spring 2005 with friends".
In Diva´s corner at the section "stacked pictures and movement" also two new photographs were added.
And of coures we updated our results page with some news from the show front ...
And there was a lovely surprise at the evening before the RRCD-Clubmatch at 15.05.: at the announcement of the RRCD Show-Top 10 for 2004 Diva was ranked as # 9! Really excellent, even more since we only attained five RRCD Shows last year - Diva was honoured with a rosette, diploma and a bag of goodies ;o).

And last but not least I´d like to extend my heartiest congratulations to Diva´s halfsister "Misty" aka Ch Ozrhode Divine Mystique (Ch Camelot´s Code Red x Grand Ch Ozrhode Ari Mystic Gypsy ET), who gained her Championship status over the last weekend - excellent work by her owner Dawn Redman/Shelridge Kennels, Australia!

Back from a very successful weekend at the Isle of Ruegen (Germany)!
I am very very proud of our australian "Diva", who managed to be awarded her elusive point towards her German Championship Title under judge Mr Walter Schicker last weekend! Here first pictures from our short trip to Ruegen, where the RRCD Specialty was held in Samtens:

Special congratulations to Sue and Steve Cameron-Codognotto from Ozrhode Kennels - this makes also the first Champion-kid for both her parents Gypsy and Rusty ... but I´m sure there are more to come very soon ;o).
But my heartiest thanks goes to my husband Richard, whose support only makes it possible for me to live my hobby - may it be to take part in dog-activities or exhibitions!
But Sunday wasn´t over and the good fortune for the Show-Team continued: also our friend Manzengwenya Nombekoleon succeeded in Intermadiate class and thus was awarded Dog CC along with Res.CAC-Club (third best male overall) - many congratulations to his owner Kiki Janson / Nombeko Ridgebacks, it was once again a pleasure to travel with her ;o).
