Diva arrived safe and sound after a long flight from Australia in February 2003.

"Divie" - like she was often called - had a gentle and friendly character and enjoyed living in harmony with everybody. And just like a real Diva she adored of course all kinds of soft cushions, coats and sofas.

Outside she showed what she got inside inside and beat her house-mate "Leo" with ease during a chase or a short rabbit-hunt ... if she wanted to (the Diva-factor even here came into play sometimes). Her prey-drive was easy to control and she was also easy to handle in all kinds of situations.

Diva in our eyes had many thrilling characteristics - may it have been her will to please, her ability ot adapt or her nice social behaviour.
She also knew how to please regarding conformation and had an exciting show career. Both her mother Gypsy and Dad Rusty were
multiple-recipients of Best Gaited Awards and Diva definitely showed that this gene had been inherited to her when she entered the ring.

Diva gained her German Championship Title at 24 April 2005, not even being three years old (quite early according to our show-system and the fact that she´s a girl), followed by the international one on 07 October 2006.

We loved Divie very much and she is dearly missed all of us. We are very grateful to Sue Cameron-Codognotto and Steve Codognotto from Ozrhode Kennels, Australia, for entrusting us with such a superb dog!
